New Approach to DAC Design
YD302 is the first YBA machine to be built around a new DAC module, adopting two units of the flagship BD34301 DAC from ROHM Semiconductors. Tuned by Yves-Bernard André and our team of experienced engineers to follow the beloved YBA sound, while pushing the levels of resolution and immersion to a higher mark, to meet the high-fidelity demands of the YBA Design line.
Advanced Inputs & External Masterclock Capabilities
While the YD302 focuses on its I2S input to complement the transports of the Design line, it still offers a full range of classic Hi-Fi inputs. Advanced XMOS XU316 allows for a simple and great sounding connection to any computer, while a combination of Coaxial, Optical, BNC and AES/EBU ensures swift connection to all classic Hi-fi components.
For the most demanding users, the YD302 even adds support for an external masterclock. Supporting 44.1 kHz output and 44.1 kHz / 10 MHz input.
Truly Reliable Construction and Components
Combining over 40 years of Hi-Fi experience, the YD302 follows the most rigorous standards of construction: a robust body made from CNC-machined aluminium, a stable and quiet German 48VA UI Transformer, carefully matched Vishay capacitors and the classic YBA design with an optimized three-legged base.
